Overview

The purpose of the Jaycees is to promote and foster the growth and development of young leaders in the United States. We do that by providing opportunities for members to get real-world professional experience through the management of our community involvement projects and fund raisers. The Jaycees also provide members with opportunity for personal development and achievement through world class training and participation in professional skills competitions.

The Asheboro Jaycees offer countless opportunities to:

• get involved in the community
• network professionally
• attend unique and exciting special events
• meet new people

The chapter is now a thriving membership of young men and women between the ages of 21 to 40 from various personal and professional backgrounds.

History

Chartered in 1941, we are an all-volunteer civic organization that runs over 20 community service and leadership development projects each year. Annually we donate over $10,000 and countless volunteer hours to area organizations through our various projects. As an affiliate of the NC Junior Chamber, the US Junior Chamber and Junior Chamber International, the opportunities provided by the Asheboro Jaycees truly are endless. There is no other young professionals' organization like the Asheboro Jaycees!
